Thank you so much for everything and it was a great experience having this all taken care of and set up by you! My dad was so impressed at how seamless everything was having transportation waiting for us at every spot and having tickets in advance to everything. So nice to not have to worry about any of this! 

 

We were very pleased with the hotel choices. The Summerland Resort in Naxos was beautiful and had a lovely pool for us to relax during the day. The rooms were nice and the restaurant had good options on the resort.  We found a lovely restaurant on the water just a 5 minute walk from the hotel as well as a small beach. The only downside was being sort of away from the Old Town Naxos which had good shopping and our tours. It is more touristy so it was nice to be a bit more private for us but in case you have clients in the future who want to be close to things, transportation wasn't very easily available and was about an 80 Euro van ride to get to the town one way. We loved the Old Town Castle tour and we explored little streets we never would have known were there and it ended with lovely sunset views at the top of the mountain I can't remember the name of now:) The catamaran was also a hit however somehow we missed that it wasn't a private tour so we had 2 other couples with us. I would just make sure people pay attention to that! But the company and crew were awesome! 

 

The hotel in Sifnos was wonderful and the breakfast was delicious! It was a very cute town with good dining and shopping options you could walk to. The bus stop was steps from our hotel and took us to the next town over within 5 minutes ( or you could walk up hill about 15 minutes ). It also took us to the beach and the port town on about a 20 minute bus ride. 

 

 The hotel in Athens was in a great location where we could walk to good shopping and dining as well. The staff was friendly and accomodating. This was a more modern hotel while the other were more rustic and authentic feeling. The food tour had a great tour guide and we enjoyed our time doing that. SO much food! We also really liked the Acropolis Tour and were impressed at our tour guide's knowledge. 

 

Our only complaint...we were not impressed with ITA Airways! If you can avoid them for future clients, I would, and I can assure my dad will never book with them in the future:) We know it isn't your fault at all but I'm sure my dad will share feedback on this as well to help you and future clients.  To start, they didn't have us in the seats we originally selected and paid for. There wasn't really an explanation, just that they weren't available. They moved us back to row 29 and I believe we were supposed to be row 14. We still had extra leg room but just weren't near my parents row. 

 

Also, we had a heck of a time getting home on Saturday as our flight was diverted to BWI due to storms at Dulles. Not the airline's fault! But, we sat on the tarmac for 5 hours ( 2 hours with no electricity or air conditioning as we ran out of fuel )and the airline staff just wasn't prepared. No arrangements were made for ITA staff to meet us at the airport from Dulles until after we'd all been waiting so long after we'd gotten off the plane. We then waited 4.5 hours for our luggage as they didn't unload it from the airplane due to not having electricity to the luggage compartments and they had to wait for ITA staff to come from Dulles. The flight attendants and pilots kept giving different explanations as to why we were all waiting and didn't have luggage. My dad has traveled a lot in his life ( he actually was a career pilot himself ) so he knows what should have been done to prepare while we were waiting all that time on the tarmac like contacting ITA representatives from Dulles to meet us at BWI asap to help passengers with their connections, transportation back to Dulles, etc. We were not the only flights grounded for so long, and we witnessed United send people asap from Dulles to meet their passengers at BWI as soon as they got off the plane, and other airlines getting their luggage much quicker!  We know some stuff is out of their control but we were not impressed by ITA. Not sure if you use them a lot but maybe in the future keep this in mind! :) 

 

Again, it was wonderful working with you and thank you for everything! We certainly plan to reach out to you in the future for our next family European trip!
